What we collect

About you: your phone number, and the name held against it in your AstroVaas account.

About your clients, entered by you: name, phone number, address, date, time and place of birth, and the property’s address and coordinates.

Files you upload: floor plan images.

Work product: the boundary you pin, the chart configuration, and the notes you write.

Why we collect it

Birth details are required to calculate the horoscope, KP chart and dasha periods. Property coordinates and the facing degree are required to orient the Vastu chakra. Everything else exists so your work can be saved, resumed and printed.

We do not use personal data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who it is shared with

Birth details (date, time and coordinates) are sent to our astrology calculation provider to compute charts. No name, phone number, address or floor plan is sent to them.

Place searches are sent to a mapping provider to resolve a location. Nothing else accompanies them.

Your phone number is verified against the AstroVaas account system when you sign in.

How it is stored

Uploaded floor plans are stored outside the public web root and are only released through an authenticated request tied to your account. Session tokens are signed and stored in an HTTP-only cookie.

Astrological responses are cached against the birth details that produced them, since a birth chart does not change.

How long we keep it

Analyses are kept until you delete them or ask us to. If you want a case and its uploaded plan removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Where you have uploaded data about a client, you are responsible for handling their requests and we will support you in doing so.
